The brief was to develop the social media strategy for Tourism Thailand and deliver the community management for their Thailand Reunited Facebook and Twitter pages. The work included setting the key themes, agreeing the target market segments and training up the team. The strategy included development of a comprehensive social content planning process to support each marketing channel.
We have doubled both the number of fans and the level of fan engagement to five times the average with posts achieving up to 14% virality. We have increased the fan base of FanclubThailand by approximately 1,000 fans a month from 4,000 to over 11,000 in approximately 4 months.
Face Marketing project managed the #ThaiTales Travel Blogger Contest for Tourism Thailand with the World Travel Market in 2012. This campaign aimed to:
increase the quality and choice of travel content on all social channels
raise awareness of Thailand as a family and adventure location
increase blogger attendance at WTM 2012.
